Whole Eggs or Egg Whites?
Knowing your breakfast protein
Egg whites
offer pure protein, sans the fat in the yolk.
Yet today, body builders know that an ultra-low-fat-diet
Isn't necessary or the best way to eat.
Which is best: whole eggs or just the whites?
Answer:
Whole eggs. The yolk contains mostly healthy fats and tons of other nutrients that the whites doesn’t. If you’re worried about cholesterol don’t be.
Research has found that cholesterol in egg yolks doesn’t raise levels of bad (LHL) cholesterol in the blood stream and actually increase levels of good
(HDL) cholesterol.
Go with two or three whole eggs per egg meals, with the rest being egg whites.
